Our Commitment to You

At Reliable Windows, we take pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and performance of every window we supply. We are pleased to provide the following Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and manufacturing for the periods described below.

Reliable Windows products are warranted to be free from defects in materials that would affect their performance under normal use, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set forth in this document.

Coverage at a Glance

Glass Seal Failure

Insulated glass is warranted against seal failure for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase. Replacement glass will be delivered to the nearest Reliable Windows dealer or distributor for pickup.

Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty extends to the original purchaser for as long as that purchaser owns and occupies the single-family residence in which the windows were originally installed. If the original purchaser sells the home, this warranty may be transferred one time to the subsequent homeowner for a period of up to ten (10) years from the original date of purchase. Coverage is non-transferable thereafter.

Commercial, Multifamily & Tract Housing

Windows sold or installed in commercial buildings, multifamily housing, or tract-housing new construction are warranted for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase. All other terms, conditions, and exclusions of this Limited Warranty apply.

Important Installation Condition

Windows must be fully covered and protected during all construction activity. No brick or masonry acid-wash may be performed after window installation. Damage resulting from acid-wash exposure, or from a failure to protect the windows during construction, is not covered by this Limited Warranty.

Repair & Replacement — Your Exclusive Remedy

If a covered defect occurs during the applicable warranty period, Reliable Windows will, at its sole option and as the purchaser's exclusive remedy, either: (a) repair the defective product or part; (b) replace the defective product or part, with color matching not guaranteed; or (c) refund the amount paid by the single-family homeowner for the product, excluding installation and related costs. Repair, replacement, or refund of a defective product is the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

Parts and Labor

Reliable Windows will furnish replacement parts to correct a valid warranty claim that falls within the coverage and time periods stated above. Labor for warranty repairs is provided at no charge only during the first year from the original date of purchase. After the first year, this Limited Warranty covers replacement parts only, and the homeowner is responsible for all labor, removal, reinstallation, and related costs.

What Is Not Covered

Every effort is made to ensure your Reliable Windows products remain trouble-free year after year. However, certain conditions are beyond our control and are not covered by this Limited Warranty, including:

• Improper installation, use, or maintenance.
• Small scratches, marks, slight glass curvature, or other minor imperfections in the glass.
• Glass breakage, including chips or cracks caused by impact, handling, or outside stress.
• Failures resulting from product modifications or window-shading devices — for example, glass tinting, security systems, improper painting or staining, or insulated window coverings.
• Water infiltration, except where it results from a defect in manufacturing or materials.
• Normal wear and tear, including natural fading.
• Corrosion of hardware or painted surfaces in coastal areas.
• Incidental or consequential damages.
• Damage caused by earthquakes, floods, wind, or other acts of God.
• Damage caused by misuse, house settling, or vandalism.
• Any cost associated with the use of scaffolding or lifts.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, contact Reliable Windows and provide the invoice number or the Purchase Order (PO) name under which the windows were ordered, along with the property address and a description of the issue. Proof of purchase is required, and claims should be submitted in writing promptly after a defect is discovered.
